Alright so how about a constructive response.
You are running into a problem of not being able to make the attackers life difficult, while they achieve their goals of: 1) Causing individual pilots grief by destroying their ships when they just want to run missions/mine/trade/etc. 1a. Causes a drop of moral and drop in player participation 1b. Cuts off revenue sources 2) Causing the group/corporation grief by destroying it as an entity as people go back to NPC corps where they can do those things sans wardec.
So how to respond to the above in a systematic way.
It is a good idea to work with other corporations suffering the same problem. But what can you all do to real stick it to the guys attacking you? 1) Everyone needs to be able to participate in combat when wardecs come. My suggestion, everyone train to fly a T1 Cruisers or T2 Frigates decently well and make sure people vary what they fly (not everyone in Caracals for example). 2) Stop flying the expensive ships (Hulks, Freighters, Battleships) when under a wardec; lower your risk. 2a. A Badger kill is not nearly as cool as a Charon kill and the Badger can be setup with some defensive systems. 2b. Traders should look into either Blockade Runners (Covert Cloaks) or Deep Space Transports (Warp Stabs!). 3) Fight back! While you may only be 10 guys in T1 fitted T1 Cruisers, you probably only need to destroy one of their ships to break even in terms of isk spent. 3a. Build what your opponents are flying and what you are flying, make the ISK battle for them one they will lose faster than you as they fund your defensive effort.
Now, what about some kind of PvP backbone corp? Well an option is to have a PvP focused corp that all the participating corps help support and is focused on being decent at PvP and then leading non-regular pvpers from the other corps.
Think of the PvP corp as a regular military; they are able to handle similar size enemies who think they are going to prey upon a weak Carebear corp. When someone big starts coming after the corps, the PvP corp becomes the leaders for the duration. The PvP corp is where you get your FCs and those with specialty skills, they also take the pain to the enemy.
So to summarize: 1) Everyone is part of the corporations' militia forces. 2) A small group of dedicated PvPers form a cadre for when war comes the groups way and during 'peace' train themselves or one of the non-pvp corps.
